What do we expect from our consultants?

In order to perform the tasks described above, we need staff who combine the highest intellectual qualities with reliability and pragmatism. The gauge and orientation for personal development are excellent consulting skills and solid experience in 3con’s fields of activity.

Our expectations of a newcomer to the profession are determination and the potential to fit quickly into our job requirements; a consultant joining at the level of project manager will be expected to possess strong consulting skills and experience in the field. The essential components of our schedule of job requirements are:

  • consulting skills such as the ability to solve problems and manage client relations, good communication skills, project management and escalation management
  • leadership qualities with respect to 3con teams as well as our clients’ staff
  • attitude criteria: commitment, readiness to take responsibility, effective and efficient work, professional demeanour, loyalty towards colleagues and the ability to integrate, objectivity and authenticity.

The formal qualifications we expect are an excellent Abitur (or comparable higher education qualification), an honours university degree and a further qualification (such as doctorate, MBA or initial experience in industrial or management consulting). Despite a certain preference for Science degrees, we are willing to consider graduates of all fields.
